About the Scooter Bug Lure

Scooter Bug is a top water lure. It can be painted to resemble a mouse, bull frog, or large bug. It can be a very productive lure in the evening or early morning around lily pads or other floating vegetation were a bass maybe prowling for a fallen mouse, bug, or bull frog.

The lure is made of hardwood and is approximately 1-3/8" diameter x 2" long and weighs about 3/8 oz.

What to Expect 

Ability - Beginners Skill Level
This lure is easy to make. It requires no woodworking or woodcarving ability to make this lure. This lure is recommended for 1^st time lure builders because it’s easy to make and it doesn’t take that much time before you see results.

Tools - All you’ll need are some pliers, paint brushes, and a hand drill with a few drills.

Time - It will probably take you about 1 hour if you use quick drying acrylic paints or a few days if you use oil based paints to paint your lures
